This article describes how to resolve problems with the ENCORE Play app on Xbox 360.
If ENCORE Play isn't functioning smoothly on your console, you may have a connectivity problem. See Troubleshoot Xbox 360 connection to Xbox Live.
If your Xbox 360 console isn't providing good-quality video or audio, see Xbox 360 audio or video problems.
If the ENCORE Play doesn't respond, delete and reinstall it. Here's how:
If the problem isn't resolved, please contact Xbox Support.
You may get one of the following error messages when you try to use the ENCORE Play app.
Go to Service status to make sure there's no current issue with the service.
If there’s no issue and you receive this error message when you try to launch the ENCORE Play app or content within the app, wait for approximately one minute. Then, try to launch the app again.
If you continue to receive this error, please delete the ENCORE Play app and reinstall it.
If this doesn't resolve your problem, please contact Xbox Support.
If you get one of these errors, wait for approximately one minute. Then, try to launch the content again.
If you continue to receive this error, please return to the previous menu and select a different piece of content to watch.
