Application errors

  • Your console Ratings system is not supported by the application. The application only supports US Ratings system. You can turn off content controls in Settings, Family.

This error message means that either your locale is not set to the United States, or there’s an issue with content controls (also known as parental controls).

To resolve this error, make sure your region is set to the United States. For help, see Change your Xbox 360 settings.

If you continue to get the error even with your locale set to United States, there may be an issue with the content controls. To work around the error, try turning off the content controls. Here’s how:

  1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to settings and select Family.
  2. Enter your pass code to continue.
  3. Set Content Controls to “Off.”

For more information about content and parental controls, see Set parental controls for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live.

  • Your subscription has been downgraded and no longer has WILD access.
  • You are currently not authorized to access this content. Please contact your TV provider for more information.

You get one of these error messages if you don’t have access to either NAT GEO TV or NAT GEO WILD through your cable provider.

If you recently changed your TV subscription or have questions on how to add these channels to your lineup, contact your TV provider.
