If videos aren’t playing smoothly in the NAT GEO TV app, you may have a connectivity problem. See the Xbox Live slow performance solution.

If the NAT GEO TV app doesn’t respond, delete and reinstall it. Here’s how:
If this didn’t resolve the problem, contact Xbox Support.
You may get one of the following error messages when you try to use the NAT GEO TV app:
Go to Service status to check for reported problems with the service. If there are no problems and you get this error when you try to start the NAT GEO TV app or access programs in the app, wait a minute and then restart the app.
If you continue to get the error, delete and reinstall the NAT GEO TV app.
If this didn’t resolve the problem, contact Xbox Support .
This error message means that either your locale is not set to the United States, or there’s an issue with content controls (also known as parental controls).
To resolve this error, make sure your region is set to the United States. For help, see Change your Xbox 360 settings.
If you continue to get the error even with your locale set to United States, there may be an issue with the content controls. To work around the error, try turning off the content controls. Here’s how:

Wait a minute, and then try to access the program again.
If you continue to get the error, select a different program to watch.
The episode or clip stored in your history or favorites has expired and been removed from the service. You can no longer access this content.

You get one of these error messages if you don’t have access to either NAT GEO TV or NAT GEO WILD through your cable provider.
