Troubleshoot NFL.com Fantasy Football on Xbox 360 app issues

This article describes how to resolve problems with the NFL.com Fantasy Football on Xbox 360 app.

The NFL.com Fantasy Football app doesn't respond

If the NFL.com Fantasy Football app doesn’t respond, delete and reinstall it. Here’s how:

  1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to settings and then System.
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select your primary storage device (most likely Xbox 360 Hard Drive).
  4. Select Games and Apps.
  5. Find and select any items that refer to "NFL.com Fantasy Football."
  6. Select Delete.
  7. Return to the Xbox Dashboard.
  8. Go to Browse Apps, and then select NFL.com Fantasy Football.
  9. Select Confirm Download to download and install the app.

If the problem is not resolved, contact Xbox Support.

Error messages

You may get one of the following error messages when you try to use the NFL.com Fantasy Football app.

Application errors:

  • This application is currently experiencing some issues. Please restart the application.
  • NFL.com Fantasy Football has encountered an unexpected error.
  • Sorry, the NFL.com Fantasy Football service isn't available right now. Please try again later.

  • Sorry, the video service isn't available right now. Please try again later.
    For more information, go to www.xbox.com/status
  • To resolve the error, follow these steps:

    1. Go to Service status to see if there’s any problem with the service.
    2. If there are no reported issues, and you get the error message when you try to start the NFL.com Fantasy Football app or access content in the app, wait about a minute and then restart the app.
    3. If you continue to get the error, delete and then reinstall the NFL.com Fantasy Football app.
    4. If the problem is not resolved, contact Xbox Support.

Controller error:

Connection error:

  • Due to a potentially weak network connection, you may be experiencing longer load times than usual. Please wait for the video to load.
  • Connection speed is below the minimum required for this content. To learn what you can do to improve the performance of Xbox Live, see Troubleshoot your Xbox Live connection.
    If you think you received this message in error, contact NFL.com Fantasy Football:

Xbox Live errors:

  • Returning to Sign-In screen. You must be signed into Xbox Live to access NFL.com Fantasy Football
  • To resolve this error you must be signed in with your Xbox Live Account.

Login errors:

  • Login to NFL.com Fantasy Football failed.
  • This username and password combination is not valid.
  • Usernames must be between 4 and 20 characters.
  • Passwords must be between 4 and 20 characters.
  • Your login has expired. Please Sign In again with your NFL.com username and password.
  • There was an error in linking your NFL.com Fantasy Football on Xbox 360 account with your Xbox gamertag. Check your credentials and retry the activation process.

    If you continue to get the error, exit the app. Then, re-start the app and try to sign in again.

Availability errors:

  • Action Not Available
  • Game Center Data Unavailable
  • Rank Unavailable
  • Could not populate user fantasy content
  • Failure To Retrieve User League Info
  • Failure To Retrieve Team Roster
  • Failure To Swap Players
  • Failure To Swap Player to Starters
  • Failure to Swap Player to Bench
  • Player has no video
  • If you get one of these errors, wait about a minute and then try to access the content again.

    If you continue to get the error, select a different program to watch.
