Error messages

You may get one of the following error messages when you try to use the Nick app:

  • Looks like the item you're looking for is no longer available.

If you get this error, wait about a minute than then try to access the item again. If you continue to get the error, select something else to watch.

To notify Nick of the content error, send email to mailto:mailto:xbox_support@nick.com.

  • Your console Ratings system is not supported by the application. The application only supports US Ratings system. You can turn off content controls in Settings, Family.
  • This error message means that either your locale is not set to the United States or there’s an issue with content controls (also known as parental controls).

To resolve this error, first make sure your region is set to the United States. For help, see Xbox 360 Dashboard displays text in the wrong language.

If you continue to get the error even with your locale set to United States, there may be an issue with content controls. To work around the error or to test whether that’s the problem, try turning off content controls. Here’s how:

    1. On your console, go to settings, and then select Family.
    2. Enter your pass code to continue.
    3. Set Content Controls to Off.

For more information about content controls, see Xbox 360 console parental controls.

To report the content error, send email to Nick at mailto:mailto:xbox_support@nick.com.

  • If you get one of these errors, check Service status to make sure there’s no current issue with the service provider.

If there are no current issues, wait about a minute and then try to access the item again, or restart the app.

If you continue to get the error, delete and reinstall the Nick app.

If the problem isn’t resolved, contact Xbox Support.
