On your console, sign in with your Xbox Live-enabled gamertag.
Go to apps, and then select Browse Apps.
Browse for Nick.
Select Nick to download and install the app.
To start the Nick app later, go to apps, My Apps, and then Nick.
Log in with your TV provider
The Welcome to Nick screen includes these options:
Log in with your TV provider–Select this to continue with the activation process. You will be taken to the Select Your Provider screen.
Note You need the user name and password for your account with that TV provider to activate the Nick app
Continue without login–This option allows you to browse, but you can’t play content until you’ve signed in.
On the Select Your Provider screen, you’ll see a list of approved TV providers. If your TV provider is on the list, select the correct tile. If your provider is not listed, you won’t be able to sign in to the app. Check back often, as new providers will continue to be added.
After you select your provider, the Activation screen will display instructions and an activation code.
In a web browser, go to nick.com/activate and enter the activation code that’s displayed on your Xbox screen.
Based on the code entered, a list providers will be displayed. Select the appropriate provider.
Enter the user name and password for your account with your TV provider to log in and activate the Nick app. If you don’t have your user name and password, contact your TV provider.
If your user name and password are correct, a “success” screen will be displayed on the webpage and on Xbox. Select nick home to enter the app in Xbox.
To access Nick programming, go to video, My Video Apps, and then Nick.
From the featured hub, you can watch any of the programs displayed in the center or select view all to browse additional featured content.
Navigate to these additional hubs to help sort content:
Episodes – Browse the latest episodes of your favorite shows.
Characters – Browse content by your favorite characters.
Search - Search for content by title.
Select something to watch, and then select Play.
Use Family Settings to control access to content
If you use Family Settings to control which movies and TV shows can be watched through Xbox Live on your console, the Nick app will follow those settings. For example, if you prohibit viewing of R-rated movies or TV-MA-rated TV shows, those programs will be marked with a “restricted” icon in the Nick app. To play a restricted item, an adult must enter the Family Settings pass code.
