Troubleshoot the Telemundo app on Xbox Live

This article offers solutions to problems you might experience when using the Telemundo app with Xbox Live and your Xbox 360 console.

Xbox Live connection problems

If the Telemundo app isn’t functioning smoothly on your console, you may have a connectivity problem. See Issues with connection speed or disconnects.

Xbox 360 audio or video problems

The Telemundo app doesn’t respond

If the Telemundo app doesn’t respond to input, delete and reinstall the app. Here’s how:
  1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to settings and then System.
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select your primary storage device (most likely Xbox 360 Hard Drive).
  4. Select Games and Apps.
  5. Find and select any items that refer to “Telemundo.”
  6. Select Delete.
  7. Return to the Xbox Dashboard.
  8. Go to Browse Apps and select Telemundo.
  9. Select Confirm Download to download and install the app.

Error messages

You might receive one of the following error messages when you use the Telemundo app.

Connectivity errors

  • Sorry, the Telemundo service is not available right now. Please try again later.
  • Telemundo not available.

To resolve these connectivity errors, try the following:

  • Go to Service status to check for current issues with Xbox Live or the Telemundo app. If there are no issues and you get this error message again when you start the Telemundo app, wait about a minute and try again.
  • If you continue to get the error, delete and reinstall the Telemundo app .
  • If the previous solutions don’t solve the problem, contact Xbox Support by clicking the “Contact us” link at the bottom of this page.

Availability errors

  • Sorry, the video you're interested in is no longer available.
  • The page you are trying to view does not exist.
  • There are currently no videos available for this category. The editorial team has not programmed anything here. Please check back at a later date.
  • The video is not loading properly. We are attempting to reload the video now.
  • Sorry, either the current video or the {xxxx} service is not available right now. Please try again later.

To work around these errors:

  • Wait a few minutes and try watching the content again.
  • If you get the same message again, select a different piece of content to watch.

To notify Telemundo of the error, send email to support@slacker.com.

Settings error

  • Telemundo cannot be run in your region.

For the Telemundo app to work, you must be in the United States, and the region on your console must be set to the United States. To resolve this issue, make sure your locale is set to the United States. For more information, see Change your Xbox 360 console or Xbox Live language.

Account error

  • You must be signed in to Xbox Live to post to Facebook.

To resolve this error, make sure you’re signed in to Xbox Live with an Xbox Live Gold Membership.
