The TWC TV app doesn't respond

If the TWC TV app doesn’t respond, delete and reinstall it. Here’s how:

  1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to settings and then System.
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select your primary storage device.
  4. Select Games and Apps.
  5. Find and highlight the TWC TV app. Press the Y button to access Game Options.
  6. Select Delete, and then confirm that you want to delete all items related to the app.
  7. Go back to the Dashboard.
  8. Go to apps, then to Browse Apps or Search Apps.
  9. Browse or search for the TWC TV app and then select it..
  10. Select Download and then Confirm Purchase to download and install the app.

If the app still doesn’t respond, contact Xbox Support.

Error messages

You may get one of the following error messages when you try to use the TWC TV app:

  • Can’t connect to the TWCable Service.
    Error code: 0C01/8009/0304
  • Sorry, TWC TV™ isn't available right now. Please try again later.
    If problem persists, please contact Time Warner Cable support at 1-800-TWCABLE (892-2253)
    For more information, go to www.xbox.com/status.
  • We're sorry, [channel name] is currently experiencing technical issues. Please try again later.
    If this problem persists:
    1. Try lowering the Video Quality option on the TWC TV™ settings page
    2. Contact Time Warner Cable support at 1-800-TWCABLE (892-2253)

  • Sorry, TWC TV™ isn't available right now. Please try again later.

These errors can occur if there’s a problem with the TWC TV app or if you can’t connect to the TWC TV servers. If you get one of these error messages, follow these steps:

    1. Go to Service status to check if there’s a current issue with the service.
    2. If there are no reported issues and you get the error when you try to start the TWC TV for Xbox 360 app, wait about a minute and then try again.
    3. If you continue to get the error, delete and reinstall the TWC TV app.
    4. If reinstalling the app doesn’t resolve the issue, contact TWC TV Support.
  • Unable to sign gamertag out of TWC TV.

This error can occur if there’s an issue with the Time Warner Cable servers. When this problem occurs, the Time Warner Cable server can’t de-authenticate you from the TWC TV for Xbox 360 app.

  • Wait and try to sign out again later.
  • Contact Time Warner Cable:
    • Visit the Time Warner Cable website, hmyservices.timewarnercable.com.
    • Call Time Warner Cable Support at (800) TWCABLE (892-2253) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
