Troubleshoot Verizon FiOS TV on Xbox 360

Issues

Verizon FiOS TV content is not playing smoothly.

The Verizon FiOS TV app is not responding.

Try deleting and re-installing the Verizon FiOS TV app.

To delete the app:
  1. On your console, go to Settings, and then select System.
  2. Select Storage.
  3. Select the location where the Verizon FiOS app is saved (for example, Hard Drive).
  4. Select Games and Apps.
  5. Select an item that refers to Verizon FiOS TV, and then select Delete. Select Yes to confirm.
  6. Repeat with any other items that refer to Verizon FiOS TV.
To re-install the app:
  1. On your console, sign in to Xbox Live.
  2. Go to Apps, and then select Browse Apps.
  3. Find and select the Verizon FiOS TV app.
  4. Select Confirm Download to download and install the app.

Error messages

You may get one of the following error messages when you try to use the Verizon FiOS TV app.

    Solution:

    You get this error message when you install or run the Verizon FiOS TV application. To resolve this error, try the following:

    If the issue is not resolved, contact Xbox Support. See the Assistance section at the bottom of this page for more information.

  • Both Verizon FiOS TV and FiOS Internet are required to use this application. You are not subscribed to Verizon FiOS TV and FiOS Internet.
  • Both Verizon FiOS TV and FiOS Internet are required to use this application. You are not subscribed to Verizon FiOS TV.
  • Both Verizon FiOS TV and FiOS Internet are required to use this application. You are not subscribed to Verizon FiOS Internet.

    Solution:

    You must be a customer of both Verizon FiOS TV and Verizon FiOS Internet (data) to use the Verizon FiOS TV application on Xbox 360. Having a Frontier FiOS account does not allow you to use the Verizon FiOS TV application on Xbox 360. You should contact Verizon to determine whether Verizon FiOS TV services and Verizon FiOS Internet (data) are available where you live.

  • <Channel name> must be included in your FiOS TV subscription package in order to use this application. You are not subscribed to <Channel name>. Visit us online at verizon.com/watchmore to order today. Promotional offers available for a limited time.

    Solution:

    Customer isYou are not subscribed to the channel you have selected. Follow the instructions in the message to subscribe to the channel.
