Errors occur when you try to activate the Xfinity app on Xbox 360

Solutions

Error codes 0, 1, 5, 7, 8, 805

These error codes are accompanied by the following error message:

  • We were unable to activate XFINITY® TV on Xbox 360®. Please try again in a few minutes. If you continue to have issues, please visit http://www.xfinity.com/xbox for more information.

If you get this error message, wait about three minutes, and then install or run the Xfinity app again.

Error codes 700, 701, 702

These error codes are accompanied by the following error message:

  • Please make sure that you subscribe to both XFINITY TV and XFINITY Internet. You can sign up for XFINITY TV or XFINITY Internet by contacting us at 1-800-XFINITY.

Error code 803

This error code is accompanied by the following error message:
