"Speaker volume" or "calibration tone" errors

Troubleshoot Kinect calibration problems

Couldn't hear the calibration tone. (8AC8000B, 8AC8000C, 8AC8000D)

Kinect couldn't hear the whole calibration tone.

Your speaker volume is too loud. (809B1084)

Your speaker volume is too low. (809B1085)

If you get one of these messages, it means the Kinect sensor microphone is having a problem hearing you.

When you see one of these Kinect calibration tone error messages, select More Info to see suggestions on how to correct the problem. After you make the suggested changes, select Try Again to run the test again.
