Error: Not enough storage space

The Xbox 360 console software needed for Kinect requires 190 megabytes (MB) of storage space.

If you do not have 190 MB of free space, you can delete some items. Here’s how:

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
2. Select Storage or Memory.

3. Look at your primary storage device (for example, Hard Drive). The amount of free space is shown. If you have less than 190 MB of free space, you need to delete some items. Select your primary storage device.

4. Select the type of content you want to delete.

5. Select the item that you want to delete. For example, you might want to delete trial games or movie rentals.
6. Select Delete.
7. Delete items until you have enough space for the software update.
8. Try to update the console software again.
