FedEx drop-off shipping instructions for Xbox 360

When you have to ship your Xbox 360 console or Kinect sensor to Microsoft for repair or replacement, you can drop off your product at a participating FedEx store for normal ground or expedited shipping. You have the option of buying the necessary packing materials at the FedEx store or providing your own packing materials. You can print a shipping label from your computer.

Find a FedEx location

Locate your local FedEx drop-off store for normal ground shipping.

  1. Go to the FedEx website.
  2. Choose to allow FedEx to find your location, or enter your ZIP Code or your address/city/state in the Find locations near field.
  3. Click the Filter button.
  4. Click Additional Services from the drop-down menu.
  5. Select Make a merchandise return.
  6. The search function will now find only those FedEx stores that can ship your product for normal ground shipping.
  7. Choose a location and take your Xbox 360 console or Kinect sensor there to ship it to Microsoft.

  1. Go to the FedEx website.
  2. Choose to allow FedEx to automatically detect your location or enter your ZIP Code or your address/city/state in the Find locations near field.
  3. Click the Filter button.
  4. Select Copy and print from the drop-down menu.
  5. Select Make a merchandise return.
  6. The search function will now find only those FedEx stores that can ship your product for expedited shipping.

Print a shipping label

  1. Go to our Xbox Online Service Center.
  2. Under Check Repair Status (lower-right corner), enter your service request number and ZIP code, and then click Check Status. Your service request number is included with the order confirmation email. Alternatively, you can click Sign In and enter your Microsoft account information (email and password).
  3. Beside Repair Status, click Print your shipping label.

Note The console shipping label should open in a separate window. If a new window does not open, make sure your browser is not blocking pop-ups.

  1. Print the contents of your browser window.
