How to cancel your Xbox 360 Entertainment For All Plan

Overview

Note The Xbox 360 Entertainment For All Plan was formerly called the “2 Year Xbox LIVE Gold Contract subscription.” If you purchased the plan under its old name, the same terms and conditions apply even though the name has changed.

We’ll be sorry to see you go, but if you decide to cancel your Xbox 360 Entertainment For All Plan, you can cancel at the Xbox.com cancellation page by following the steps on this page.

Notes

  • If you cancel your subscription and have not paid the fees for the full Xbox 360 Entertainment For All Plan that you agreed to pay as part of the Terms and Conditions, you will be charged an Early Termination Fee (ETF) and applicable taxes, unless you cancel within the period specified in the retail store’s return policy.
  • If you decide to cancel while you are still within the retail store’s return policy period, you must first return the console to the retail store where you purchased it, along with the receipt that has the console serial number on it. Otherwise, you will be charged an ETF. If you return the console and then cancel your subscription while you are within the retailer’s return policy timeframe, you will not be charged an ETF but will be charged the $14.99 monthly subscription fee for the first month as an administrative fee.
  • If you cancel your subscription and return the console within the retail store’s return policy period but are still charged an ETF, contact Xbox Support using the Assistance information at the bottom of this page.

How to cancel your subscription

If you decide to cancel, here’s how:

  1. Go to the Xbox.com cancellation page to start the process of cancelling your subscription.

  2. If you choose to keep your subscription, click Keep My Membership to end the cancellation process so you can still enjoy your subscription benefits.
  3. If you decide to cancel your subscription, click Cancel My Membership, and you will be directed to a screen where you confirm your cancellation.

Reactivate your subscription after cancelling
