Error code c00d1310 occurs when trying to download a podcast

You see the following error when you’re trying to download a podcast in the Zune software:

c00d1310

This error usually occurs when there's an issue connecting to the server that hosts the podcast, which is a server outside the Zune ecosystem. The podcast may be temporarily unavailable, or it may have been removed from the server. Or, the podcast may be password-protected and can't be downloaded with Zune.

This error may also mean that the Zune software can't connect to the Internet.

Solutions

Try one or more of the following to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Double-check the URL

Make sure you typed the podcast URL correctly. This is a common mistake that’s often overlooked.

Solution 2: Find out whether the server is having network issues

To find out if the server that hosts the podcast is having network issues or if the podcast has been removed, open a new browser window or tab and try pasting the podcast’s URL in. You may then be prompted to save the file to your computer. If so, the podcast is still available.

Solution 3: Check your Internet connection
