Error C1010007 occurs when using the Zune software

You see the following error when you try using the Zune software:

Error code C10100007

This may mean that that your device was disconnected from your computer while it was being used with the Zune software.

Solution

Reconnect the device using the USB cable that came with the device. Then, resume whatever you were doing before the interruption. Typically, you don’t lose any content after this kind of connection error.
