Error C101A006 occurs when using the Zune Music + Video software

Note As of November 15, 2015, the Zune service has been discontinued. This may cause errors when attempting to stream or download content or update the service. For more information, see the Zune retirement FAQ.

You see the following error when you use the Zune Music + Video software:

C101A006

This may mean that an unspecified error occurred in your computer's communications with a Microsoft server.

Solutions

Solution 1: Go to the Service status page and make sure that the service is up and running.
Solution 2: Clear your browser cache by pressing Ctrl + F5.
If you keep experiencing the problem, contact Xbox Support.
