"Have you been traveling?" message appears when you use the Xbox Music app on your PC

Problem

You may see the following message when you use the Xbox Music app on your PC:

Have you been traveling?
You’ve been using the Xbox service in a different place than what you told us when you set up your Xbox Live ID. We only allow that for up to two weeks.
To start playing again you’ll need to make sure you’re using an account from your current location.

This message may mean that you’re trying to listen to music in a country or region that’s different than the one associated with your Xbox Live account.

Solution

Xbox Music allows you to listen to music when you travel for up to two weeks. After two weeks, the region listed in your Xbox Live account must match the region of your current Internet connection (or IP address). We require these to be in alignment so that only music in that supported region is played.

To start playing music again through Xbox Music, you’ll need to make sure your account region is the same as where you’re accessing the Internet. This may require creating a new account.
