Clean the battery pack from your Play & Charge Kit

From time to time, it is a good idea to clean the battery contacts in your Play & Charge Kit. If you do, use only a dry cloth or isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab. Water or chemicals can damage the contacts.

To clean your battery contacts:

  1. Open the battery compartment (image 1 below).

  2. Clean the contacts in the controller with a dry cloth.
  3. Replace the battery (image 3 below).

Note If you find that the batteries in your Play & Charge Kit are not recharging, keep in mind that rechargeable batteries eventually wear out. The length of time that a rechargeable battery lasts depends on how frequently you use the battery and how frequently you charge the battery. If you use the battery frequently, the battery won't last as long as if you use the battery only occasionally.
