Error 0x8007139f error on Xbox One console

Problem

You see the following error and message when you try to download games or apps on your Xbox One console.

Can't find the content.

Status code: 0x8007139f

This can occur if the content is missing or corrupted.

Solution

To uninstall games or apps:

  1. On Xbox Home, select My games & apps.
  2. Select Games or Apps, highlight the game or app you want to remove, and then press the Menu button .
  3. Select Manage game or Manage app.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Select the location where the game or app is stored. For example, select Internal if the game or app is stored on the Xbox One hard drive. Then select Uninstall all.
    • Select the game or app logo, press the Menu button , and then select Uninstall.
    • To delete saved data, select the saved data file, press the Menu button , and then select Delete saved data.
  5. On the next screen, select Uninstall to confirm the deletion.

Error 8007139f on Xbox 360 console

Problem

You see the following error and message when you try to play downloaded content on your Xbox 360 console.

Can't find the content.

Status code: 8007139f

This means that the content couldn’t be found on your console. This can occur if the content is missing or corrupted.

Solution

To work around this issue, download the content again. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to settings and select System.
  2. Select Storage, and then select the storage device where the content is stored.
  3. Select Rights Database.
  4. Select Delete, and then select Yes.
  5. Select settings and then Account.
  6. Select Download History.
  7. In your Xbox Music and Video Purchase History, select the content that you want, and then select Download Again.
  8. Try to play the content again.
