Add and watch your favorite channels with OneGuide

The OneGuide TV listings show you all the channels available to you based on your TV provider and channel lineup. The Favorites option allows you to designate a list of favorite channels.

To add favorite channels:

  1. Say "Xbox, OneGuide," or select Live TV from OneGuide and then press the X button on your controller to open OneGuide.
  2. Press the menu button on your controller, and then select TV listings from All channels.
  3. Scroll through the available channels, focusing on the channel (such as NBC or PBS) instead of the show. Or, say "Xbox, watch," and then say the name of the channel.
  4. When you find a channel you like, say "Xbox, add to favorites," or select the Star next to the channel and then press the A button on your controller.
Note You can also say "Xbox, remove from favorites," or select the Star next to the channel and then press the A button on your controller again to remove a channel.

Note Double-tapping the Xbox button opens the guide from any other screen on the console.

  4. Select TV & OneGuide.
  5. Select OneGuide.
  6. Select your preferred option from the second list in the first column on the screen:
    • Show all HD and SD channels will show all channels, regardless of resolution.
    • Show HD channels only will block all SD channels.
    • Hide SD duplicate channels will automatically hide any standard-definition channels that are also present in an HD version.

OneGuide and family safety

OneGuide does not enforce content limits you've associated with your Xbox One profile. If you want to configure parental controls on your TV, you should do so on your cable box. Or, contact your cable or satellite provider if you have questions.

OneGuide does filter explicit titles and descriptions. This setting is on by default for all accounts. To view or change this setting, go to Settings, and then select Privacy and online safety.
