Set up a guest key and restrictions on your Xbox One console
When you create a guest key, guests who don’t have their own Xbox profile can use your Xbox One console without you being present or signed in. A guest key allows the guest to override any content limitations that you set as the default experience on your Xbox One.
Set up a guest key
Press the Menu button on your controller and select Settings.
Scroll to the far right and select Guest settings.
Select Create a guest key.
Note Setting a guest key does not grant access to accounts for which you’ve already set a personal passkey. For security reasons, we recommend you use a different 6-digit combination for the guest key, one that can be easily remembered by all members of your family.
Create the 6-digit passkey using the buttons on your console as shown on the screen. Enter them again to confirm your guest passkey.
Set guest content restrictions
From the Guest settings screen, select Access to content.See Set up a guest key to get to this screen.
Note All guest accounts default to Unrestricted, which allows your guests access to all content. Click Access to content & apps to change the settings based on age appropriateness. Select the age level you would like to set for your guests. The Ratings will update so that you can see ratings as regulated in your country. Checking Hide listings in search, stores, & apps will keep guests from seeing the content that you don’t want them to access.
