Manage your Xbox LIVE payment options
Overview
You can have one or more payment options associated with your Xbox LIVE account. Payment options can include credit cards and PayPal accounts, which can be used to purchase items from Xbox LIVE.
- To change a payment option for your Xbox LIVE membership, see Change payment for an Xbox LIVE membership.
You can easily edit your payment options. Here’s how:
Add or change a payment option
- Go to My Account.
- Under Payment & Billing, click Manage Payment Options.

- If prompted, sign in using your Microsoft account (email and password).
- Do one of the following:
- Click Add a new Credit Card and enter the credit card information.
- Click PAY with PayPal and follow the instructions to add an existing PayPal account or create a new one. PayPal is not available in all regions.
To edit a payment option, click Edit.
