Step 1: Move your console

a.	Turn off your Xbox 360 console.
b.	Move your console to an open, well-ventilated area away, from all other electronic devices. Poor conditions Good conditions

Tips for positioning your Xbox 360 console:

•	Don't put your console inside an enclosed space. Put your console in an open area with lots of ventilation, such as a table or shelf.
•	Don't stack other devices on top of or below your console.
•	Make sure your console and its power supply are on a hard surface. Don't put your console on something soft like a bed, sofa, or rug.
•	Keep your console away from heat sources such as ventilation openings on televisions and electronic devices. Also keep your console away from heating vents and direct sunlight.

Step 2: Let the console cool down

a.	Turn off your Xbox 360 console.
b.	Wait a few hours for the console to cool down.
c.	Turn on the console and see if you have two flashing lights.
