Xbox LIVE-compatible routers, wireless bridges, and gateways work great for connecting your Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system to Xbox LIVE. If your router is not listed, or does not have the Xbox LIVE Compatible logo, it does not mean that it will not work. The Xbox LIVE Compatible logo means that we have tested the router with Xbox LIVE to ensure it will work with your console. Routers that are marked as Works with Windows Vista or Certified for Windows Vista are also compatible with Xbox LIVE.
The logo applies to the router model, the hardware version of that model, and the firmware version for that model. The topics on the Windows Vista Hardware Compatibility list Web site provide information about specific Xbox LIVE-compatible models and firmware that you can use to optimize your connection. For more information about supported versions and known issues, select your router, wireless bridge, or gateway model.
