Solution: Set up Windows Media Center
To use Windows Media Center with your Xbox 360 console, you must have a PC running Windows Media Center. You have a compatible Windows Media Center PC if you have:
- Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
- Windows Vista Home Premium
- Windows Vista Ultimate
Note
Windows Media Center is not included with Windows XP Home, Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista Home Basic, or Windows Vista Business.
To set up Windows Media Center on your console:
- On your Windows Media Center PC, go to www.xbox.com/pcsetup to make sure your software is up-to-date.
- In the Xbox Dashboard, go to My Xbox and open Windows Media Center.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to finish Windows Media Center setup.
