This article describes how to change the language display on your Xbox console.

Note If the current language setting of the Dashboard is in a language other than English, the following steps will still work but you may not be able to read the menu options. If this is the case, you must follow the directional pad instructions exactly to make sure that you select the correct option.
| 1. | Start your Xbox console with no disc in the disc tray. The Xbox Dashboard appears. |
| 2. | On the Main Menu screen, press the directional pad (D-pad) down two times to select Settings, and then press the A button. |
| 3. | On the Settings screen, press the D-pad down one time to select Language, and then press the A button. |
| 4. | On the Language screen, press the D-pad up or down to select the language you want, and then press the A button. |
| 5. | Press the B button to return to the Main Menu screen. |
