SYMPTOMS

When you are using the Xbox controller, the controller buttons, directional pad, or thumbsticks stay depressed or in the same position after you press them or move them.

THINGS TO TRY

1. Unplug the controller.
2. Wipe the controller with a clean, lightly damp cloth.
3. Plug in the controller, and then try to use the controller.
4. If this does not resolve the issue, your controller will need to be replaced.
