This article explains how to handle invitations to games you are already playing in.

Note: You can send invites to people on your Friends list only when they are actually signed on to Xbox Live. You can't send invitations to people who are offline.

To invite a player to a game session once you are inside the game and logged in:

1.	Select the player from the Friends List.
2.	Press the A button.
3.	Select Invite to send them an invitation.

When someone invites you to a game session for a game you are currently playing, you will see a game invitation icon flash on your screen. To accept or decline this invitation:

1.	Open your Friends list.
2.	Select the player who sent you the invitation (they willhave a pending invitation icon beside their name).
3.	Press the A button.
4.	Select Accept (or if you want, select Decline).

Anytime you are able to join a session (or create one), you can invite users from the Friends List to join you. If you create a session, you can set the session to be "Private" and invite users on the Friends List to play.
