If you are experiencing latency (slowness) in gameplay, or if a specific game is not working online, use the following troubleshooting steps:
| 1. | Determine the bandwidth usage of your network connection. If you use your network connection for an Xbox console and a computer, the two devices share the network bandwidth. Try to play the game while the network is not being used on the computer. |
| 2. | Try to play the game at different times of the day. Typically, residential high-speed networks experience most network traffic in the evenings when people are at home using their computers. This is true of both Cable networks and DSL networks. |
| 3. | Determine whether the Xbox Live service is experiencing problems. For more information, visit the following Xbox Web site: |

You may also experience latency on Xbox
Live if you join an individual session whose host has limited bandwidth. Hosting a game session with limited bandwidth slows down the session for every player, as the peer-to-peer connection is using the host's line.
