With Xbox 360 you can view JPEG image files stored on recordable media (CD or DVD), from a connected portable device (camera, audio player, or USB flash drive), or from a connected computer (with Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows Media Center).

To view JPEG image files:

1. Go to My Xbox and open Picture Library.
2. Choose a source from which to view image files.
   
   • Select a single image or select Play Slideshow to cycle through all images contained on your selected source.
   • When viewing a slideshow, you can use your controller's left stick (LS) to do stuff like pause, shuffle, and rotate images.
   • When viewing a single picture, you can use your controller's left stick (LS) to view the next or previous image, and rotate images.

You can also select a single JPEG image file to serve as an opaque background in the Xbox Dashboard.

To set a JPEG image file as your dashboard background:

1. Go to My Xbox and open Picture Library.
2. Select the source for the image you want to use.
3. Highlight the image you want. Instead of selecting the image (A), press Y (Apply as Background). The image will then appear as the background for each area of the Xbox Dashboard.
