Error C00D1195 occurs when trying to install the Zune Music + Video software
Note As of November 15, 2015, the Zune service has been discontinued. This may cause errors when attempting to stream or download content or update the service.
You see the following error when you try to install the Zune Music + Video software:
C00D1195
This may mean that there isn't enough space on your computer to complete the installation.
Solution
Use Disk Space Cleanup Manager to free up space on your hard drive. Here’s how:
- On Windows 8:
- From the Start screen, start typing disk cleanup. When the search bar appears, select Settings before you complete your search.
- In the main section of the screen, click the icon next to Free up disk space by deleting unnecessary files.
- Select the drive that you want to clean up (probably drive C), and then click OK.
- In the Disc Cleanup dialog box, review the list of files and their sizes. Select the files that you want to permanently delete.

- On Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP:
- Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then Disk Cleanup.
- Select the drive that you want to clean up (probably drive C), and then click OK.
- In the Disc Cleanup dialog box, review the list of files and their sizes. Select the files that you want to permanently delete.
