Configure firewall ports to use Windows Media Center on Xbox 360
Firewall ports must be open for Windows Media Center
Windows Media Center on your Xbox 360 console uses network ports to communicate with computers running Windows on your home network. If you're having trouble using Windows Media Center on your console, network ports might be blocked by a firewall running on your computer.
For information about how to configure a firewall on a computer using Windows, see Allow a program to communicate through Windows Firewall.
