If you're having a problem using Films & TV on your Xbox 360 console, it may be due to an app error or a setting on the console.
Solutions
To resolve this problem, try the following solutions.
Solution 1: Reset the app
You can reset the Films & TV app by removing any related content from your console:
From the Xbox Dashboard, go to settings and then System.
Select Storage.
Select your primary storage device.
Select Games and Apps.
Find and select any items that refer to "Films & TV."
Select Delete.
Solution 2: Test the Xbox Live service
Press the Guide button on your controller.
Select Settings, System Settings, and then Network Settings.
Select the name of your Wireless Network or select Wired Network for a wired connection.
Select Test Xbox Live Connection.
If you can connect to Xbox Live, the console is connecting correctly.
If you can't connect to Xbox Live, the Connection Test will show you where in the connection process the error occurs and what type of error it is. Note this information, and then try the Xbox 360 Connection Error Solution to resolve the problem.
Solution 3: Delete your profile and download it again
To delete your profile, which may be corrupted, follow these steps:
Go to Settings and select System.
Select Storage.
Select All Devices.
Select Gamer Profiles.
Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
Select Delete.
Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.
To redownload your Xbox Live profile, follow these steps:
Press the Guide button on your controller.
Select Download Profile. Note If you don't see Download Profile, you're probably signed in. Press X to sign out of your profile.
Enter the Microsoft account that's associated with your Xbox Live-enabled gamertag. Note If your account is an Xbox Live child account, you'll have to provide the parent Microsoft account credentials to download the profile.
Select the storage device for your profile (for example, Hard Drive). Your profile will begin downloading. After your profile has downloaded, you can choose whether to require a Microsoft account password to sign in to your profile.
Note The Remember Password option is off by default, which means you'll be prompted for your Microsoft account password whenever you sign in to your Xbox Live profile on this console. Leave this box unchecked if you want to be prompted for your Microsoft account password when you sign in to your profile on this console.
Solution 4: Roll back system updates and then reinstall updates
Press the Guide button on your controller.
Go to settings and select System Settings.
Select Storage.
Enter the following button sequence: LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X.
Select the option to roll back all system updates that were installed. The console will restart automatically and then download the updates again.
