Troubleshoot Xbox 360 connection to Xbox Live
If you’re having trouble getting your Xbox 360 console to connect to Xbox Live (or you’re experiencing a slow or low-quality connection), there are several solutions available to help you.
Note Before you begin troubleshooting your Xbox Live connection, check the Xbox Live service status.
Select the scenario below that best fits the connection issue you’re experiencing.
If you’re setting up your Xbox 360 console to connect to Xbox Live, the Xbox 360 First-Time Connection Solution will walk you through set-up and testing of a wired or wireless connection, signing in to Xbox Live and configuring your Xbox Live account.
