Error 87DD0006 occurs when you try to sign in to Xbox Live on Xbox One or PC
You see the following error code when you try to sign in to Xbox Live on an Xbox One console or PC:
This may mean that there was a service outage just before you tried to sign in.
Solution 1: Check the Xbox Live service status
If you see any alerts here, wait until the service is up and running and try again:
Solution 2: Restart your console or PC
On your Xbox One console:
- On your console, press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox One controller to open the Power Center.
- Select Restart console.
- Select Restart.
Note If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.
On your PC:
- On your PC, press the Windows button .
- Select the Power button > Restart.
Note If the PC appears to be frozen, press and hold the Power key on the device for 10 seconds, until the PC turns off. After it shuts down, press the Power key to restart.
