If you're having trouble getting a game to play, uninstalling and reinstalling the game might help. This process replaces the files that run the game. If you installed your game from a location other than the Windows Store, such as a DVD or external storage device, follow these steps:
Alternatively, some games support repair via the Uninstall/Change options. If you don't see "Repair," select Uninstall or Change from the available options and check to see if the game supports repair.
Note If there is no repair option available, check that you have backed up any in-game settings before continuing to uninstall and reinstall the game. Also make sure that you have the media that you originally installed the game from, as you'll need it to reinstall.
