Error 80153422 occurs when you try to purchase content from Xbox Live
Problem
You see the following error code and one of the following messages when you’re trying to purchase content from Xbox Live:
80153422
- Can’t retrieve information from Xbox Live.
Please try again later. - Sorry, there's a problem with the Xbox service. Try again later.
This may mean that your account is locked or that there’s an outstanding balance on your account.
Solutions
Solution 1: Check your billing address and payment option expiration date
Make sure that the billing address for your Xbox Live account matches the billing address used by your credit card company and that your payment option expiration date has not passed.
