The guide offers several ways to do two things at once, like listening to music while you play, broadcasting your game, capturing clips and screenshots, and tracking achievements.
Launch a music app that supports background music, such as Groove or Pandora. Once music is playing, start a game. Your music will continue playing in the background.
For playback controls, open the guide and look for Background audio under Recent.
To broadcast your game over Mixer, first start a game. Then open the guide and select Mixer broadcast > Start broadcast.
To broadcast over Twitch, start a game, then open the guide and select Twitch from Games & apps (or under Recent if it's there). Then select Broadcast > Start broadcast.
For Game DVR options, open the guide from your game, and then:
Use the achievement tracker to monitor your progress while you play. Open the guide from your game, then select Achievements and turn on the achievement tracker.
For more info about tracking your achievements, see Tracking achievements in your game.
Note With the March 2017 system update, we've made changes to the way multitasking works on Xbox One, including the removal of Snap functionality.
With live TV, you'll need to view the channel guide in full screen rather than snapped.
