Error 8015DC01 occurs when you use Xbox One or PC
You see the following error code when you use your Xbox One console or PC:
This may mean that your console or PC needs an update. Once you restart, your console or PC will automatically download any new updates.
To resolve this error, try the following solutions:
Solution 1: Check the Xbox Live service status
If you see any alerts here, wait until the service is up and running and try again:
Solution 2: Restart your console or PC
On your Xbox One:
Restart your console to download available updates. Here's how:
- Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox One controller to open the Power Center.
- Select Restart console.
- Select Restart.
- When the console restarts, try to play the content again.
Note If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.
On your PC:
- On your PC, press the Windows button .
- Select the Power button > Restart.
Note If the PC appears to be frozen, press and hold the Power key on the device for 10 seconds, until the PC turns off. After it shuts down, press the Power key to restart.
