Error 0x87dd001a occurs when you use your Xbox One

You see the following error code while using your Xbox One:

0x87dd001a

This means your Xbox isn’t connected to Xbox Live.

Solutions

Solution 1: Check the Xbox Live service status

If you see alerts here, wait until the service is up and running, then try again:

Xbox Live Core Services: up and running
2018-09-22T00:58:48.5982360+00:00

Solution 2: Test your network

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then go to System > Settings > Network > Network settings. Select Test network connection and follow the on-screen suggestions.

Solution 3: Check your installation

If your connection is good, your game might need an update. Try launching it again.

If that doesn’t work:

  1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, select My games & apps, See all, then choose Updates. If your game needs an update, it will be listed there.
  2. Select the game and accept the update, then launch it again.
