You see the following error code and message when you try to split the payment for a purchase from your Xbox One console:
PBR9039
There's a problem using this credit card to split the payment. Choose a different credit card, or add a new one.
To resolve this problem, add a new payment option to your Microsoft account, and then try to make your purchase again using the new option. Go to Change a payment option, select Add payment option on the left side of the screen, and then follow the instructions.
