    NOW TV app on Xbox 360 help

    The NOW TV app on Xbox 360 doesn't respond

    To fix this problem, delete and reinstall the NOW TV app:

    1. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings and then System.
    2. Select Storage.
    3. Select your primary storage device.
    4. Select Games and Apps.
    5. Find and select any items that refer to NOW TV.
    6. Select Delete. Confirm that you want to delete the item. After you've deleted all the items related to the app, go back to the dashboard.
    7. From the Dashboard, go to apps and then to Browse Apps or Search Apps.
    8. Browse or search for NOW TV, and then select it.
    9. Select Download and then Confirm Purchase to download and install the app.

    Error messages

    You may get one of these errors when you try to view a programme in the

    Availability errors

    • Sorry, NOW TV isn't available at the moment. Please try again later. For more information, go to www.xbox.com/status

    To resolve this error, try the following solutions

    • The content is no longer available. Search the NOW TV app to find something else to watch.
    • Go to Xbox Live status to check for current issues with NOW TV. If there is a reported issue, try again later.
    • If there is no issue and you get this error message when you try to start the NOW TV app, wait for about one minute and then try again.
    • If you keep getting this error, delete and reinstall the NOW TV app. (See The NOW TV app doesn't respond, above.)

    If these tips didn’t resolve your problem, contact Xbox Support.

    • Oops! Something went wrong here. Please come back later.

    To resolve this error, try the following solutions

    • Go to the Xbox Live status to check for current issues with NOW TV. If there is a reported issue, try again later.
    • If there is no issue and you get this error message when you try to start the NOW TV app, wait for about one minute and then try again.
    • If you keep getting this error, delete and reinstall the NOW TV app. (See The NOW TV app does not respond, above.)

    Region and locale errors

    • Oops! Your console Locale setting is not supported by the application. The application only supports US or UK regional settings.

    This application is not available in your locale. Your Xbox locale must be set to United Kingdom to access NOW TV.

    How to confirm or change the locale on your Xbox 360 console

    1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
    2. Go to Settings and select System Settings.
    3. Select Console Settings.
    4. Select Language and Locale.
    5. Select Locale.
    6. Confirm that the selected locale is United Kingdom. If it's not, select United Kingdom.

    Connectivity errors

    • Sorry, the NOW TV server isn’t available at the moment. Please select the retry button below or try again later. For more information, go to xbox.com/status.

    To resolve this error, try the following solutions

    • Go to the Xbox Live status to check for current issues with NOW TV. If there is a reported issue, try again later.
    • If there is no issue and you get this error message when you try to start the NOW TV app, wait for about one minute and then try again.
    • If you keep getting this error, delete and reinstall the NOW TV app. (See The NOW TV app doesn't respond, above.)

    If these steps didn't resolve the problem, contact Xbox Support.

    • The Now TV server is not available at this time.

    To resolve this error, try the following solutions

    • Go to Xbox Live status page to check for current issues with NOW TV. If there is a reported issue, try again later.

    Sign in errors

    • Your sign-in details are incorrect. Please try again.

    To resolve this error, try the following solutions

    • Your user name or password is incorrect. Try again.
    • If you aren’t registered yet, go to www.xbox.com/nowtv and sign up.
    • If you are registered but have forgotten your password, visit NOW TV and reset it.
    • Both Username and Password cannot be empty.

    To resolve this error, try the following solutions

    • Your user name and password are incorrect. Try again.
    • If you aren’t registered yet, go to xbox.com/nowtv and sign up.
    • If you are registered but have forgotten your password, visit NOW TV and reset it.
    • The PIN that you entered is incorrect. Please re-enter your PIN.

    Your PIN is established within your NOW TV account and must be edited or updated through NOW TV.

    Account errors

    • Missing Payment reference information on movie detail.

    To resolve this error, try the following solutions

    • Go to Xbox Live status to check for current issues with NOW TV. If there is a reported issue, try again later.
    • If there is no issue and you get this error message when you try to start the NOW TV app, wait for about one minute and then try again.
    • If you keep getting this error, visit the NOW TV support forums to log an issue for investigation
    • You need a Sky Movies Monthly Pass to enjoy our NOW TV subscription content. Please go to www.xbox.com/NOWTV and select SUBSCRIBE TO PLAY and sign up for the Sky Movies Pass subscription.

    To access content from the Sky Movies monthly ticket listings, you must subscribe to Sky Movies Pass. Go to NOW TV to subscribe.

    • You are trying to share this content, but your social network privileges are disabled. In order to share, please enable your social network privileges by going to Xbox Live online account privileges.

    You are trying to share this content, but your social network ability is disabled. For more information about changing your social sharing settings, go to Xbox Live online safety and privacy.

    • Too many devices are registered with this account. Please go to www.nowtv.com and manage your associated devices.

    You have reached the device limit for this account. Go to your account settings at NOW TV and remove at least one other device.

    Parental settings errors

    • <gamertag> is blocked from purchasing a video. To unblock purchasing, update settings in the dashboard.

    Your Xbox parental settings do not allow you to purchase this content. To purchase this content, you must change your settings online or from the Xbox Dashboard. For more information, see Set parental controls for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live.

    If you are not the console owner and do not have the pass code, contact the console owner for help.
