"Buy Now" is displayed for an item in your download history on Xbox 360
You can redownload items that you've purchased at no additional charge. However, "Buy Now" may appear next to an item you've already purchased. Learn how to resolve this issue.
Solution 1: Make sure the item is in your download history
Make sure the item appears in your download history. Here's how:
- On your console, sign in to Xbox Live.
- Select Settings, and then select Account.
- Select Download History.
- Select the item in your download history and select Download Again.
Note An item is not displayed in download history if it was purchased using a different Xbox Live account. To see your Xbox Live account purchases, see Check your Xbox Live subscription and transaction history online.
Solution 2: Restart your console
Restart your console and sign back in to Xbox Live.
If you still see "Buy Now" next to the item, try the next solution.
Solution 3: Purchase the item again (you should not be charged)
To download the item again, select Buy Now. Don't worry, you won't be charged again, because you already purchased the content.
To confirm this, check your account’s transaction history to make sure you’re not charged a second time. Recent purchases are shown at the bottom of the webpage.
If you see a duplicate charge, or if you keep experiencing the problem, contact Xbox Support.
