Making sure your Xbox prepaid subscription is valid for your country
Important changes for Xbox Live customers in Mexico and Brazil:
- Starting February 28, 2017, the price of 12-month Xbox Live Gold in Brazil will decrease to R149 and, in Mexico, the price will remain MXN $999.
- To ensure pricing for the Xbox Live Gold subscription service reflects the local market economy, all Xbox Live Gold subscription cards purchased from retail in Brazil or Mexico will now only be redeemable in the country purchased and cannot be redeemed in any other country.
- If you are purchasing an Xbox Live Gold subscription card online, we strongly recommend that you purchase the card from the country that you live in to avoid potential issues.
