    809B1081

If you see this error message or code when you're using Kinect, it means the Kinect sensor microphone is having a problem hearing you.

    Solutions

Solution 1: Select "More info" and then "Try again”

On your console, select More Info to see suggestions on how to correct the problem. After you make the suggested changes, select Try Again to run the test again.

Solution 2: Make sure that the Kinect sensor is positioned correctly

To learn how to position your Kinect sensor correctly for optimal microphone use, go to Kinect voice recognition and chat on Xbox 360.

    Solution 3: Request a repair

If the previous solutions didn't resolve the problem, your Kinect sensor needs to be repaired. See Getting your Xbox console or Kinect sensor serviced.
