Error 8015D000 occurs when changing the Microsoft account for Xbox Live on your Xbox 360

You see the following error message when you're trying to change the Microsoft account that's associated with your Xbox Live account:

This profile cannot be downloaded right now.

    Status Code 8015D000

This may mean that there are issues with Xbox Live, that you entered an incorrect email address or password, or that there's a problem with your Microsoft account.

    Solutions

To resolve this problem, try the following solutions:

Solution 1: Check for Xbox Live status alerts

Check for service alerts on the Xbox Live Status  page, or see if an Xbox Live service alert appears at the top of this page. If there are any service alerts, wait a while and then try again.

    Note
If a specific service or app is down, you can ask Microsoft to notify you when it's working again. Under the app or service name, click Notify me when this service or app is up and running.

Solution 2: Make sure your credentials are correct
Make sure you've entered the correct email address and password.

Solution 3: Verify that your account isn't blocked
If Microsoft notices unusual activity on your Outlook.com or Hotmail.com account, we may temporarily block it for your protection. If we blocked your account, sign in at account.live.com and follow the instructions to remove the block.

Solution 4: Check the Microsoft account associated with your gamertag
If you have more than one Microsoft account, you might be trying to sign in with the wrong one. You need to sign in with the account that's associated to Xbox Live.
To make sure that you're using the right Microsoft account:

    • Sign in at the top of any Xbox.com page, such as this one.
    • Use the same Microsoft account email address and password that you're trying to use on your console
    • If there are any issues with your Microsoft account, you'll be prompted to correct those issues.
    • If you're signed in to the wrong gamertag, or if you're prompted to create a new Microsoft account, it's likely that you're using the wrong Microsoft account.

Solution 5: Use your child's Microsoft account
If the Xbox Live account is a child account, make sure to enter your child's Microsoft account credentials. You must use the same credentials that were used to create the child's account.

Solution 6: Reset your Microsoft account password

If you can't remember your Microsoft account password, you might have to reset your password before you can access Xbox Live.

If you keep experiencing the problem, contact Xbox Support.
