    Error 8015DC12 occurs when you try to launch a game or app on Xbox One

    You see the following error code when you try to launch a game or an app on your Xbox One console:

    8015DC12

    This means you might need to wait a few minutes and then try to play the content again, or you'll need to restart your console.

    Solutions

    Solution 1: Check the Xbox Live service status

    If you see any alerts here, wait until the service is up and running and try again:

    Social and Gaming: up and running
    2019-02-15T23:04:21.1818548+00:00

    Solution 2: Restart the console

    To resolve this problem, restart your Xbox One console, and then try to launch the game or app again. Here's how:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Restart console.
    4. Select Yes to confirm.
    5. Try to play the content again.

    Note If you’re unable to access the guide, or if the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart. Try to play the content again.
