Error 80154042 occurs when you try to associate your gamertag with a different Microsoft account
You may see the following error code and message when you have more than one Microsoft account, and when you try to associate your gamertag with one of these Microsoft accounts.
Can't retrieve information from Xbox Live, please try again later.
This may mean that you’re currently signed in on another device with a different Microsoft account. For example, you may be signed in with another Microsoft account on your home computer or on your phone.
To resolve this problem, verify that you aren't signed in with the old Microsoft account on another device. If you are signed in on another device, sign out and then try again to associate your gamertag with the new Microsoft account.
