You see the following error message when you purchase content on Xbox Live on your Xbox 360:

Can’t receive information from Xbox Live. Please try again later.
This may mean one of the following:
We charge you only for purchases that go through. So, even if you receive email from us saying that you were charged, or a charge appears on your credit card, that charge will be automatically offset, and you won’t be billed for any purchases that don’t go through.
To resolve this problem, try the following solutions:
Solution 1: Retry the purchase immediately
Try making your purchase again right away. You can fix some temporary issues with the billing service by doing this. We won’t charge you for any purchase that doesn’t go through.
Solution 2: Retry the purchase in 24 to 72 hours
If an immediate second purchase attempt doesn’t resolve the problem, retry the purchase in 24 to 72 hours.
If you keep experiencing the problem, contact Xbox Support.
