Error 8c210003 occurs when you try to make a purchase on Xbox Live
You see the following error code when you try to make a purchase on Xbox Live:
This may mean one of two things:
The purchase isn't available for the kind of Xbox Live subscription you have.
There's a problem with your payment method.
Solution 1: After your trial expires, purchase an Xbox Live Gold subscription and try making the purchase again
If this solution doesn't work, or if you think another account issue is causing the error, try the next solution.
Solution 2: Check your billing address and payment option expiration date
Make sure that the billing address for your Xbox Live account matches the billing address you use with your credit card company. Also, make sure that your card's expiration date hasn't passed. Here's how:
In the Xbox Live section, under Paid with, select Change how you pay.
On the "Change how you pay for these subscriptions" page, select the payment option to change from the drop-down list.
Note To add a new payment option, select Add a new way to pay, select Next, and then follow the steps to set up your credit card, debit card, or PayPal account as a new payment option.
Once you've selected the option to be changed, select Next, and then follow the instructions to change your payment option.
